Job Description - Microsoft Dynamics AX Techno - Functional Consultant
MS Certified Professional Consultant - Dynamics AX
10-12 years of experience installing and/or troubleshooting Dynamics AX 2009/2012 R2, R3 and 365 for Operations
Ability to install and configure all aspects of Dynamics AX 2012, WAX, TRAX, Precision Forms and associated applications with in-depth understanding of Dynamics AX 2012 data structures
Strong organizational skills with customer facing capabilities
5+ full life-cycle Dynamics AX implementation experience
7+ years of technical experience with proven expertise customizing Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP (2009 or 2012)
4+ years technical experience with .NET, X++ or other OOP programming languages
Understand banking industry specific Business cycles for related modules.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP upgrades
Knowledge of Dynamics AX Architecture (layers, models, tiers, etc)
Suggest and implement leading practices and process improvements.
Proven project experience modifying or creating new reports using SQL Server Reporting Services, SSAS and Management Reporter
Having one or more functional and development certifications within Dynamics AX
Experience developing custom portals and integrating them with Dynamics 365 for Operations
Knowledge of production functionality within Dynamics AX 2012 is highly preferred
Experience with workflows, workflow customizations
Familiarity with Sure Step methodology and documentation.
In depth familiarity in areas from Module Setup to closing cycles and re‐conciliations.
Expert in defining requirements for software solutions
Perform gap analysis between system functionality and client requirements
Ability to provide Training on related modules
Communicate and document system specifications for clients and team members
Document test scenarios and perform unit, system, and data conversion testing tasks
Automated testing experience is preferred
Provide periodic status reports and accurate estimates and timelines of work
Ability to map and configure clients’ business requirements into Dynamics AX
Prepare User Manuals, Training Material for Customers
Perform Configuration / Process Flow Simulations to the customer
Ability to work both individually and in a team environment and add to his teams’ knowledgebase and AX experience.
Knowledge in implementation experience in GCC countries is highly preferred
Should have participated in all stages of lifecycle in multiple AX implementation projects
Proficient communication skills in English
